Locomotive failure prediction method

When predicting whether a locomotive has a fault, the following eight methods can generally be used. 1 meter forecast. Ammeters, oil pressure gauges, water temperature gauges, and barometers are used to indicate the vehicle's operating conditions. If its readings are abnormal, it indicates that the locomotive is faulty. 2 temperature prediction. Stop and check in the middle, you can use hand touch to determine whether the temperature of each part of the vehicle is normal, such as touching the brake drum, rear axle housing, transmission shell, etc. If you feel very hot, it means that the locomotive is faulty. 3 odor prediction. When driving, if you smell an abnormal odor, such as burnt smell/gasoline, etc., it means that the vehicle has malfunctioned. 4 fuel consumption forecast. Locomotives have a certain range of fuel and oil consumption. If there is a significant increase in fuel consumption, it indicates that the locomotive is faulty. 5 performance prediction. The performance of the vehicle gradually decreases as the mileage increases, but it is very slow. If the performance of the locomotive is obviously deteriorated during driving (for example, the locomotive suddenly swings heavily and the brakes are not working properly), the locomotive is faulty. 6 Leakage prediction. If the sealing performance of some parts of the vehicle deteriorates, water leakage or oil leakage occurs. Leakage and other phenomena indicate that the locomotive is faulty. 7 sound predictions. If the locomotive is abnormal, it indicates that there are problems with some parts. 8 gap prediction. The standard clearly specifies the value of the clearance of each part of the locomotive. If the clearance is too large or too small, it indicates that the locomotive has a fault.
