Application of cotton without trace ripening technology

In recent years, with the adjustment of the planting structure, the area of barley-cotton continuous cropping and wheat-cotton intercropping in our county has been expanding year by year. Due to the long period of inter-row shading or delayed management in the previous period, the output of cotton fields mainly consists of autumn peaches. The late autumn peach is more important. In late September, the temperature dropped to less than 20°C, which is lower than the development requirement of bolls. As a result, some bolls fail to boil, and the yield and quality are affected. Therefore, timely ripening has become the main measure for management of late-maturity cotton production. In order to find a cost-effective ripening technology, we started experimenting, demonstrating, and promoting late-maturity cotton application of traceless ripening technology in 1996, and achieved good results. In 1999, the application area reached 9263.2hm2. The effects and application techniques of Gram-free ripening and ripening are summarized as follows: 1. Effect of using cotton as a traceless ripening effect (a) Rapid leaf-falling rate, high leaf-fall rate, 1-2 d loss of water, shrinkage of leaves after cotton spraying, 4-5d Withered off, 7-8d basically shedding clean, leaves 6-8d earlier than the commonly used elixir of ethylene, the same time the rate of leaf loss was 15.4%-27.6% higher than that of ethephon. (ii) Concentrated boll opening, high blooming rate before the frosting, advanced boll opening time, high rate of boll opening, concentrated boll opening, and good color of seed cotton. After spraying, the leaves were dry and fall off, and the amount of boll opening increased. After 7-8 days of medicine, it was the peak period of boll opening. After 10 d, the flocculation rate was about 40%, and the pre-frost flower rate was about 90%, 5.5%-8.4% higher than that of ethephon. (III) Output increase and quality improvement Cotton sprayed during appropriate period, the boll weight and lint percentage increased, the output increased by 5%-7%, the fiber length increased by 1-2mm, and the yellow flower rate decreased by 2.6%-4.2%. Lint level increased by 1-2. (4) Seed germination stability According to the determination of seed germination rate, the seed germination rate remained 86%-95% after spraying, and there was no significant difference compared with the control. Second, the application of technology without trace ripening (a) to grasp the maturity of the ripening effect of ripening with g traced the spraying period and boll bell period closely. According to trials and demonstrations, the peak period of boll opening decreases with the delay of spraying time. Listed in 1998: after spraying, young bells within 20 days after flowering are forced to stop development and promote the shedding; for cotton bolls 20-30 days after flowering, spraying can lead to premature cracking and sprinkling, in case of rain If the temperature is low, it will become a boll, which will affect the yield and quality. The bolls blooming 35-45d or more can be cracked and opened earlier, and the bolls longer than 45d can increase the boll weight and advance the boll opening. Therefore, according to the maturation process of late-maturing cotton. Combining with climatic factors of the year, from the comprehensive analysis of improving quality and yield, the optimum period for application of gram-free ripening is best 10-15 days before (10-15 October). That is, at this time, the effective flowering period has reached more than 45 days. It concentrates on boll opening before the frost and gives full play to the ripening effect of quality improvement. (2) Choose the appropriate dose without the tracer ripening effect, showing the trend of increasing the pre-frost flower rate and quality and the rate of the green bell. From the yield effect of different doses used during the same spraying period, with a trace of 30-50ml per 667m2, the yield per unit of production increased by 3.3%-7.4% compared with the control; with 80-100ml per gram of grammia used per 667m2, the yield decreased slightly. In order to increase the yield and quality and increase the cost of production, it is advisable to ripen the cotton with 667m2 with a trace of 50ml. (C) pay close attention to weather conditions without trace of ripening effect and meteorological factors related to the use of drugs to grasp the weather changes in the trend, after the spraying of rain within 1d to re-spray; 7-10d post-drug peak of the period if there is continuous rain We must postpone the use of drugs to prevent the decline of cotton grades. (D) The amount of water should be sufficient, the liquid must be spread evenly without trace. Only after the entire cotton plant is evenly treated with drugs can the ripening effect be achieved. The amount of liquid per 667m2 is 40L.
