It is understood that in recent years, our province has established a food safety supervision system in an all-round way, so that the food safety situation in our province has further improved. By the end of 2010, the province had a total of 5,600 food safety production enterprises, 8,849 small food processing workshops, 174,624 food business units, 85,000 catering service units, 33 food additive production companies, and 379 raw milk purchase stations. . Last year, the province issued a total of 6,705 food production licenses and 60,656 food circulation permits. Of the 673 slaughter pigs in the province, 374 have been completed at the renewal sites last year, and 136 sites have been rectified within a limited time period, bringing down 93 unqualified slaughter enterprises. The province has a total of 109 meat product exporters or agents from 12 countries and regions that have obtained filing qualifications, and a total of 63 new companies have obtained export registration qualifications.

Wang Tianyu said that in general, all types of enterprises in our province can, in accordance with the requirements of relevant state laws and regulations, pay attention to the health examinations and food safety training for employees, and implement the main responsibilities for requesting cable tickets and product recalls.

At the same time, our province has intensified efforts to rectify food safety. Only last year, the province’s industrial and commercial system inspected 556 thousand households of various types of food business, examined 8,383 markets in various markets, including food wholesale markets and bazaars. Operating 1964 households, destroyed 75 false-use dens, investigated and dealt with 2,489 food cases that did not meet food safety standards, and saved economic losses of 708,000 yuan for consumers. At present, there are 6,388 food wholesalers across the province, 4,285 of which have registered wholesale products, and the filing rate is 67%.

In addition, last year our province also spotted 17 high-risk foods such as raw aquatic products and cooked meat products, completed 1,355 batches of sampling inspections, and the pass rate was 85%; the province last year banned private slaughtering sites by 12 points. More than 26,000 kilograms of diseased meat and illegal meat were imported, and 30,000 pigs and hog products were harmlessly treated.
