Empty fruit greenhouses produce empty fruit in tomatoes, which is mainly caused by improper use of fertilizers or excessive use of hormones. Hormones and nitrogen fertilizers will cause the tomato fruit to expand rapidly. The poor part of the placenta of the pollinated and fertilized fruit expands slowly, and the interior of the fruit is not enriched, forming empty fruit. Low ground temperature, lack of light, and root injury are the causes of empty fruit. To control the occurrence of empty fruit in tomatoes, the number and use of hormones should be reduced. Attention should be paid to the use of more potassium, reasonable application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, attention should be paid to raising the temperature inside the shed, increasing light, and strengthening the management of fertilizer and water.
