Crowling (caged) is the use of brood brooding cages to raise chicks, usually 4 stacked cages. Each cage is surrounded by iron wire, bamboo poles or wooden strips. The troughs and drinkers can be arranged outside the fence. The chicks eat and drink water through the fence. At the bottom of the cage, wire mesh and plastic wire mesh are used. Chicken droppings can be dropped from the gap to the underlying shroud plate and removed regularly. Many heating methods use heating, hot air furnace or cage design electric heating plate. Each layer can accommodate 600-1000 chicks, reducing density as the age of the chick increases. The temperature at which the chicks are placed one meter above the ground increases with the age of the young, the cage temperature and the temperature decrease gradually, and near the room temperature at the age of 3 weeks, the minimum room temperature should be maintained at 18C. Cage breeding can make full use of space and heat energy in houses, increase labor efficiency, effectively prevent diseases, invest a lot, and have high technical requirements for nutrition and management. It is currently the main brooding method adopted by modern and factory-intensive chicken farming at home and abroad.
