Fermented bed litter can have a variety of

It is well-known that the production of a fermentation bed requires not only fermentation strains but also a large amount of litter. The thickness of the padding for pigs like wet-type fermentation beds is 80 to 100 cm, and the cost of 50 tons for pigs is 50 cm, whether it is 50 cm or 100 cm. If it is a large-scale farm, the need for litter The amount is very large, good bedding can make the fermentation bed run better, so it is very important to choose what kind of padding is used as the fermentation bed.

From the technical point of view, the litter material requires high carbon and nitrogen ratio, high carbohydrate content, loose porous and breathable, good water absorption, fineness, non-toxicity, and no obvious impurities. From a practical point of view, litter materials must be sourced from a wide range of sources, facilitate collection and purchase, be as cheap as possible, and be easy to grasp.

1, sawdust. Sawdust is the best fermented mattress material because sawdust has the highest carbon nitrogen ratio and is most resistant to fermentation in all litter. At the same time, loose and porous sawdust, air permeability and water retention are also better. The fineness of sawdust is just right for the requirements of a fermentation bed. Due to the difference in wood and processing methods, the type, humidity, and quality of sawdust vary greatly and should be grasped during procurement and use. When using sawdust, please pay attention to the following points:

(1) Do not use sawdust with poisonous trees, such as eucalyptus, otherwise it will cause poisoning.

(2) When using sawdust containing more grease such as pine wood, it should be aired for a few days to disperse the volatile oil.

(3) Sawdust produced from artificial boards containing glue or preservatives is not used in principle, since the added substances contained in such sawdust may be toxic to pigs and may have an inhibitory effect on the fermentation process. If it must be used, mix it with other sawdust and lay it on the bottom, or mix it with a small amount of sawdust.

Wood shavings produced from wood processing can also be used in small quantities, especially in the lowermost layer. Note that sawdust must be dried in advance when making the gems dry spreader.

2, rice husk. Rice husk is also a good material for litter and has better ventilation performance than sawdust, but its adsorption performance is slightly inferior to that of sawdust. The use of effect and life is second only to sawdust. It can be used alone or mixed with sawdust. Rice husks should not be crushed. The advantage of rice hulls over sawdust is that they are of a single variety, of stable quality, and generally not overly moist and mildewed. The effect of incorporating a small portion of rice husk in sawdust is similar to that of a single sawdust. The advantage of this litter formulation is that it improves the air permeability of pure sawdust and reduces the easy adhesion of pure sawdust.

3, peanut shell. Can be crushed to the lowest floor, the thickness should not exceed 15 cm. It can also be used without mixing with sawdust or rice husk.

4, corn stalks. It can be short-backed to the bottom, with a thickness of about 10 cm.

5, wheat straw or straw. Can be short or not processed directly to the lowest layer, the thickness does not exceed 20 cm.

6, corn cob. It can also be crushed to a degree of fineness that does not exceed the size of soybeans, or used in combination with sawdust and rice hulls. The ratio is not limited, and it can also be laid directly on the bottom layer after rolling. The corn cob itself also has a high nutritional value.

In addition, corn bran, wheat bran, cotton stalks, etc. can also be used as fermentation mattress material. For details, please contact: Beijing Huaxia Kangyuan Technology Co., Ltd. Tel 63623048 Free hotline address:
