1 Choose piglets

2 Deworming, extermination
Piglets must be dewormed in time after entering the pen. Commonly used methods are: trichlorfon tablet 80 mg / kg body weight orally; left imidazole powder 10 mg / kg body weight, or fed with its injection 50 mg / kg body weight intramuscular injection.
If the piglets have the chance to contact the faeces after birth, they may develop cysticercosis. To ensure that no acne should be collected for blood tests, the method is: pierce the ear veins to the bleeding, use a 10 cm long 1 cm wide clean dry filter paper, one end touches the blood, until the blood infiltration of more than 1 cm, The treatment is naturally dried at room temperature, and the other end is sent to the laboratory for indirect hemagglutination. Positive subjects were treated with albendazole at a concentration of 30 mg/kg body weight in a small amount of concentrate and taken once every 48-72 hours for a total of 3 doses.
Swine fever is quite common. Control measures: After the pig enters the bar, use a suitable amount of 100 worms to make a 2% solution at a dose of 60 mg/kg body weight. In recent years, some swine households have applied 0.15 g/kg body weight mixture orally, which can not only completely kill maggots and lice, but also can drive out other nematodes in the body and eliminate other anthelminthic diseases.
3 Timely castration
The growth and development of straight-line fattening pigs is fast. One week after the vaccine is injected, it should be cast off, but it cannot be cast off before immunization with swine fever.
4 Selenium supplement and iron supplement
For selenium-deficient areas, selenium-containing additives may be used, 0.1% sodium selenite or sodium selenite vitamin E injection may also be used, at a dose of 0.13 mg/kg body weight, after 7 days of age, after weaning and after weaning 1 month each intramuscular injection, you can also use sodium selenite vitamin E powder per 100 kg of feed plus sodium selenite 22 mg, vitamin E powder 2000-2500 unit mix feeding. This can prevent selenium deficiency and improve immune function in pigs.
In the fetal period, piglets have very limited storage of iron and copper in their bodies and can only maintain their normal development after 10-12 days of growth. The content of iron in maternal milk is only 1/7 of the iron needed for the development of piglets for one week of age. Around the time, the feeding of sows and piglets does not come into contact with fresh soil. Therefore, it is particularly important to supplement iron in time. Otherwise, iron deficiency anemia will occur. There are several ways to supplement iron: 1 ml of blood serum is injected into the hind legs within 2 days after birth. Can also be used 0.25% of ferrous sulfate and 0.1% copper sulfate solution, 3-5 ml per day per head or drops on the nipple on any piglets.
5 Full price feed feeding
Feed should be properly matched with nutritional standards, properly kept, to prevent mildew and spoilage of rats, and to feed moldy and toxin-containing feeds.
6 Prevention of Infection and Emergency Equipment Backup
Before the entry into the pens, the pigs should be thoroughly cleared of poison, and the water should be washed and dried before new pigs can be introduced. Into the piglets should be grasped enough. If new pigs are purchased, they must be isolated and observed for more than two weeks. Pighouses should be kept clean and regularly sterilized. A poison depot is set up at the door of the pig house, where shoes and work clothes are put in, and non-feeding personnel are prohibited from entering the house. Pig manure cannot flow from one column to the other. Pigs should pay attention to drinking water and prevent drinking contaminated water. Other animals are strictly forbidden to enter. Diseased and dead pigs should be buried or incinerated and must not be eaten to prevent the spread of infection.
