Feeding management of pregnant sows

First, add and subtract sow feed. In the first 10 to 15 days before the sow's production, the lactation diet is gradually changed to prevent sudden changes in feed after sow production, causing sow indigestion and piglet diarrhoea. If the sow has a good sensation and the breast enlargement is obvious, then the sow should gradually reduce the amount of feed before 1 week of prenatal birth, and reduce the half of the diet by 1 to 2 days before delivery; and reduce the amount of coarse material, bad residue, etc. Volumetric feed, so as not to oppress the fetus, or cause constipation in prenatal sows affecting delivery.

Second, stop the feeding when the symptoms of labor are found, only feed the bean cake bran soup. If sows are poorly bred and their breasts are dry, not only should they be reduced, but they must also be fed with protein and other probiotic feeds to prevent the sows from having milk after birth.

Third, moderate exercise. One week before the sow should stop long-distance movements, instead of going around the pig house or sports grounds to avoid activities, avoid fierce pursuit, collision and cause miscarriage or stillbirth.

Fourth, in addition to ectoparasites. If a sow is found on the sow, use a 2% solution of trichlorfon to spray it off to prevent it from being transmitted to the piglets after delivery.

V. Moved into the delivery room. The sow will be moved to the delivery room 3 to 5 days before the sow will be born to make it familiar with and accustomed to the new environment, to avoid fetal suffocation before fetal death caused by severe tossing.
