Asparagus seed sowing method

Autumn lettuce is planted in summer and early autumn. The temperature is high and the seeds are difficult to germinate, requiring special management. Because the best temperature for lettuce seed germination is 15-18 °C, the high limit is 28 °C, and need to see light. Therefore, the seeds need to be germinated at low temperature before sowing in the hot season. The specific method is as follows:

Hanging method

Seed is soaked with well water (15°C or so) proposed in the well or soaked in cold water for 5-6 hours. Use two hands to wash, remove mucus impurities, rinse 2-3 times, remove and dry slightly, put in a wet cloth bag, hang In the well (bag 10-30 cm away from the water, not soaked in water), the temperature is maintained at about 15 °C, removed every day with well water 1-2 times, budding 3-4 days.

Freezing method

Soak the seeds for 24 hours. Scrub clean, wrapped with gauze, in the refrigerator or freezer, frozen at -3 °C -5 °C temperature for 24 hours, after the formation of ice, placed in a cool ventilated place, the ice slowly melted. Seed germination is also slow. When the buds are white, spread out in a cool, ventilated place with scattered light. Watch for water spray, moisturize, and prevent dryness. After 2-3 days, when the germ appears pale green, it can be sown. After germination and sprouting, the plants will emerge neatly. Strong resistance.

Sand mixing method

Soak the seed for 1-2 hours and mix it with wet sand, place it on the air-raid shelter or water tank, maintain the cool and moist conditions, and germinate 3-4 days.

Irrigation Coverage

After the rice seedlings have been broiled and dried, they are flattened and finely ground. The dried seeds are sown and covered with a thick layer of rice straw. Afterwards, the rice straw is pressed with bamboo sticks or bricks. The seedbeds were soaked in water at nightfall, and the seeds germinated gradually over 2-3 days.

Growth regulator germination

At a high temperature of 30-40 °C, 5 mg/well of gibberellic acid ("92") and 5 mg/l of 6-benzylaminopurine can also be soaked for about 8 hours, then rinsed with tap water, and then sowed. The germination rate can be increased to about 80%. If 6-benzylaminopurine and gibberellin are mixed at 5 mg/L each, the effect is better. When using 6-benzyl amidine and gibberellin, it should be noted that the concentration can not be higher than 7.5 mg / l, otherwise it will reduce the germination rate, causing phytotoxicity.

Put a shade shed (cloudy sky) or use a shade net after sowing. It can also be planted under melons, or mixed with the unearthed cabbage.
