Autumn rabbits have their hair exchanged to guard against fur ball disease

After the fall, rabbits began to change their hair. If the fodder is not properly formulated, it lacks vitamins, minerals, and amino acids (especially sulphur-containing amino acids). In addition, the rabbit hair that flies off during moulting can easily contaminate the fodder and drinking water. If it is not cleaned in time, It will inevitably cause hairy balls and induce hairball disease. Therefore, hairball disease is a common and frequently occurring disease in the fall. Strive for early prevention, early detection and early treatment.

Rabbit suffering from performance, loss of appetite, hi drinking water, often lying, accompanied by bloating, constipation syndrome. The dung ball is spliced with hair, and the pyloric hairy crusts are touched on the stomach. Constipation occurs when the guinea pig is severe, and rabbit hair blocks the intestine and causes death. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the feeding and management during the moulting period, and reasonably mix the forage with vitamins and sulfur-containing amino acids. At the same time cages to take the flame disinfection, timely burning and clean lint, and for drinking enough water, practice has proved that: artificial combing with fur comb can promote premature hair exchange, in short, should keep the cage clean and comfortable.

Rabbits were found to isolate in time and take the following prescriptions.

3. Fill liquid paraffin first, 15 to 20 ml each time, and then warm water to 40 to 60 ml each time, and let the rabbits exercise so that the hair bulbs can swim in the gastrointestinal tract and discharge them.

4. Carrot 100 grams, smashed and squeezed juice, add honey for gavage, 2 times a day, 2 to 3 tablespoons each time.
