During the cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus, the mycelium grows vigorously (white and dense), the fruit body is difficult to form, and the phenomenon of not producing mushrooms or oysters is very rare. This is the so-called long white hair. To prevent the "white hair" of the oyster mushroom, the following measures can be taken:
1, adjust the temperature of high temperature type Pleurotus ostreatus, the temperature can be controlled at around 25 °C during the day; low-temperature type Pleurotus ostreatus, during the day can be controlled at about 10 °C temperature. Increase the temperature difference between day and night in the appropriate temperature range to stimulate mycelial growth.
2, control the humidity relative humidity should be controlled between 85 to 95%.
3, increase ventilation In the absence of oxygen, Pleurotus ostreatus is not easy to mushroom or vulnerable to abnormal mushrooms, so to increase ventilation, but do not blow the wind directly to the mushroom body.
4. Mechanical compression Approximately 100 grains of dry soil particles with a diameter of 1.5 cm were evenly sprinkled on a 1 m square mycelium, which forced the growth of mycelia and promoted the formation of fruit bodies.
