1. Prevent rust on welded parts. After welding and repairing agricultural machinery, the paint around the weld often gets scorched and may rust later. To prevent rust in the repaired area, remove the welding slag after welding, and apply a layer of grease once the part cools down to about 100°C (black in color). This method helps avoid future rusting.

2. Repair cast iron parts with ordinary welding. When using regular carbon steel electrodes to weld cast iron, cracks can easily occur. However, using cast iron electrodes is not cost-effective. The solution is to cut along the weld seam with a small current, ensuring you only cut the groove without penetrating through. Then perform hot welding. This process reduces local stress, preventing new cracks from forming during the repair.

3. Repair a damaged valve. If the valve on a vehicle tire is damaged, you can saw off the damaged section and drill a 20 mm deep hole with a 4.5 mm diameter drill. Then tap it with an M5 thread for 13 mm depth and screw in the valve core to inflate. It's important to grind the drill tip to match the angle of the valve cone seal to ensure a proper fit.

4. Remove the cylinder head easily. If the cylinder head nuts are removed but the head is still stuck, gently tap the edges with a hammer and then turn the crankshaft. The cylinder pressure will help push the head off more easily.

5. Warm up the water seal ring. In cold weather, the water seal ring becomes brittle and can break when installed. Soak the ring in warm water (around 60°C) for 5 minutes before installation to make it more flexible and easier to handle.

6. Heat rolling bearings for installation. If you don't have special tools, hitting the bearing directly with a hammer can damage it. Instead, heat the bearing using a 60W bulb for 5-10 minutes until it reaches about 110°C (not exceeding 120°C), then quickly install it on the shaft.

7. Prevent cork gaskets from breaking. Cork gaskets used in multi-cylinder diesel engines provide good sealing but are prone to cracking. To reduce this risk, apply a thin layer of paint only on the top surface during installation. This makes the gasket stick to the cover, so it won’t break when removed later.

8. Check generator bearing clearance. Use a suitable battery to connect one terminal to the generator housing and briefly touch the other to the field terminals. If the bearing clearance is normal, no sound will be heard. If the gap is too large, the rotor may vibrate and produce noise. The louder the sound, the larger the gap.

9. Different pistons are not interchangeable. The piston of the CC195 diesel engine has a 2.5 mm shorter distance from the pin hole center to the top compared to the S195 model. Therefore, these two types of pistons cannot be used interchangeably.
