施肥 Fertilize trees

First, because tree roots are widely distributed, especially in the fibrous root system, it's important to apply fertilizer around the root zone rather than close to the trunk. This ensures that the nutrients are accessible to the fine roots responsible for water and nutrient uptake. Second, for large trees with extensive root systems, such as pines, ginkgo, stinky cedar, and acacia, fertilization should be done deeper and over a wider area. On the other hand, shallow-rooted trees like *Fatsia japonica* (Fatong) or *Amorpha fruticosa* require shallow application with a more limited coverage to avoid damaging their surface roots. Third, organic fertilizer must be fully composted and cooked before use—never apply raw manure, as it can burn the roots and introduce harmful pathogens. The fertilizer should also be ground into a fine powder to ensure even distribution and better absorption. Fourth, after applying fertilizer, especially during top-dressing, it’s crucial to water thoroughly. This helps the nutrients penetrate into the soil and reach the root zone effectively. Fifth, fertilization is best done on sunny, dry days. During rainy weather, the roots absorb water more slowly, which reduces nutrient uptake and increases the risk of leaching, leading to wasted fertilizer. Sixth, on sandy soils or sloped areas, where nutrients tend to wash away quickly, it's advisable to apply fertilizer deeper to keep it within the root zone longer. Seventh, nitrogen-based fertilizers are highly mobile in the soil, so they can be applied shallowly and still reach the root zone. However, potassium has lower mobility, and phosphate is even less mobile. For this reason, it's recommended to apply these fertilizers deeper to ensure they remain accessible to the roots. Eighth, when applying base fertilizer, which works more slowly over time, it should be placed deeper in the soil. In contrast, top-dressing, which provides quick nutrient availability, should be applied more shallowly. Ninth, foliar sprays are most effective when applied correctly. They should be sprayed evenly and at the right concentration to avoid leaf burn. It’s best to apply foliar fertilizers on cloudy days or in the early morning before 10 a.m. and in the late afternoon after 4 p.m., when temperatures are cooler and evaporation is reduced. By following these guidelines, you can maximize the efficiency of your fertilization practices while protecting the health and growth of your trees.

Veterinary Ultrasound Scanner

As customers have higher and higher requirements for animal reproduction and animal disease diagnosis and treatment, traditional diagnostic methods such as visual inspection, stethoscope listening, thermometer inspection, and percussion and hammering can no longer meet the needs of animal husbandry production and veterinary clinics. Today, B-ultrasound is playing a big role in human medical diagnosis, and in the future, B-ultrasound will also play a role in animal medicine. We should promote the use of veterinary ultrasound scanner step by step according to the actual situation, popularize the knowledge of the use of veterinary ultrasound scanner, take this as an opportunity, and use it as a ladder to improve the level of veterinary practice in our country.
