Plastic greenhouse

Large-scale, connected-type plastic greenhouses have emerged in recent decades and have been rapidly developed as a type of greenhouse. Compared with glass greenhouses, it has the advantages of light weight, less use of framework materials, low shading of structural parts, low cost, long service life, etc., and its environmental control capability can basically reach the same level of glass greenhouses, and users of plastic greenhouses accept it. Plastic greenhouse structure

1. The overall size of the plastic greenhouse

Such greenhouses have different structural dimensions in different countries. However, on the whole, the general greenhouse spans 6 to 12 meters, with an opening of about 4 meters, and an altitude of 3 to 4 meters. In a multi-span greenhouse with natural ventilation, the maximum width of the greenhouse should be limited within 50m, preferably around 30m, when the side windows and the roof window are used in combination; Expansion to 60m, but it is best to limit to about 50m; the length of the greenhouse (from the perspective of easy operation) is preferably limited to 100m, but there are no strict requirements.

2. The main structure

The main structure of the plastic greenhouse is generally used hot-dip galvanized steel pipe as the main bearing structure, factory production, on-site installation. Due to its light weight and weak resistance to wind and snow loads, plastic greenhouses must take full account of the overall stability of the structure. Generally, vertical bracing should be set in the indoor second or second bay, in the greenhouse. The outer protective structure and the roof should also consider setting up necessary space support. It is best to have a diagonal support (cantilever tie rod) anchored to the foundation to form a spatial force system.

The main structure of the plastic greenhouse must have at least 8 grades of wind resistance, and generally require wind resistance of 10 grades.

The snow load carrying capacity of the main structure shall be determined according to the actual snowfall conditions in the construction area and the winter use conditions of the greenhouse. For use in the North, the design snow load should not be less than 0.35 kN/m2.

For the annual run of the plastic greenhouse, a number of load factors such as the weight of the equipment, the weight of the plant, and maintenance should also be considered.
