Single tube preheating. Two 11 mm holes were drilled at both ends of the exhaust manifold of the diesel engine to pass the preheating pipe from the exhaust manifold. The pipe joint screws were welded at both ends of the pipe, and one end of the pipe was connected to the outlet pipe of the diesel fine filter. Single-tube preheating can generally increase the oil temperature to 56-75°C and reduce fuel consumption by 5-6%.
Double tube preheating. Each end of the exhaust pipe of the diesel engine was drilled with a hole of 17 mm in diameter, and a 500 mm-long iron pipe was passed through. The iron pipe and the exhaust pipe were welded firmly, and then the preheating pipe was inserted into the iron pipe. The tubing connector screws are welded at both ends of the tubing, one end of the fuel oil filter of the oil filter, and the other end of the fuel pump inlet tube. The use of double tube preheating can generally increase the temperature of diesel fuel to 65°C, and the fuel consumption can be reduced by 6-10%. It is worth noting that the optimal temperature for diesel pre-heating is 65-75°C, and the low-temperature fuel-saving effect is poor. Excessive temperatures will increase wear. Therefore, when installing a diesel engine preheating device, be sure to pay attention to the appropriate temperature requirements.
