First, the environment of origin

Second, species selection

The varieties of sweet (spicy) peppers that are resistant to disease, cold-resistant, low-temperature-resistant, high-yield, and good commercial products are selected. Seed quality meets the requirements of GB16715.3 secondary standards.

Third, nursery

1. Nursery facilities are usually nursed in greenhouses, multi-span greenhouses, plastic greenhouses and other facilities, and intensive cultivation should be carried out using plug trays.

2. Preparation of substrate The selection of high-quality peat, vermiculite, and perlite as the matrix material, the three according to the volume ratio of 3 +1 +1 preparation, while adding 50% carbendazim WP 0.2 kg, stir and wait. Optional sweet (spicy) pepper nursery special commodity substrate.

3. Use the 72-well black PS standard plug tray for tray selection and loading. The matrix containing 50% to 65% of the water content is loaded into the tray, and slightly vibrated and smoothed.

4. Seed processing

(1) Soaking in warm soup, choose sunny, dry the seeds for 3 to 5 hours and put them in warm water of 50°C to 55°C. Stir quickly. When the water temperature drops to 30°C, soak seeds for 6 to 8 hours. Remove seeds to dry the skin. Germination.

(2) Disinfect the product with 10% trisodium phosphate solution soaked at room temperature for 20 minutes, or soaked with 50% carbendazim WP 500 times for 2 hours, or soaked with 300 times formalin for 30 minutes, remove After washing with water, germination will occur. Can also be used 50% carbendazim WP to seed weight of 0.4% seed dressing, or 25% metalaxyl wettable powder seed weight of 0.3% seeded directly after sowing.

(3) Germination The germination of the treated seeds is carried out in an environment of 22°C to 28°C, and is rinsed with fresh water 1 to 2 times a day. When more than 70% of the seeds are white, the seeds can be sown.

5. Seeding

Usually sowed in late January, the specific sowing time varies according to different nursery facilities. The greenhouse seedlings are properly sowed in early stage and the intensive cultivation in the solar greenhouse is appropriately sowed late.

The seeds of the buds will be sowed in a standard 72 hole tray containing a substrate, sowing depth of 4 to 6 mm, covering the disinfection of vermiculite after sowing, leaching water, with holes in each hole is clearly visible. The treated coated seeds can be sown directly after drying for 3 to 5 hours.

6. Seedling management

(1) Before the emergence of the temperature, the temperature is maintained at 25°C to 30°C during the day and the temperature is maintained above 20°C during the night. After the seedlings are unearthed, the daytime temperature is maintained at 25°C to 28°C, and the nighttime temperature is maintained at 18°C ​​to 22°C. After the emergence of seedlings, strengthen and extend the light and ventilation time to cultivate strong seedlings.

(2) Moisture should be watered before noon, and should not be watered after 3:00 pm. Insufficient sunshine during rainy days, high humidity, and no watering. The seedlings on the edge of the seedbed or the seedlings on the edge of the plug are prone to losing water, and they must be filled in time.

(3) 5 to 7 days before colonization, the temperature is gradually reduced to 13 to 15°C for hardening.

7. Strong seedling standards

With this variety, 7 to 9 true leaves, plant height 15 to 20 cm, just bud split, dark green leaves, thick stems, short internodes, no pests and seedlings.
