At the beginning of the growing season of gold leaf privet, a small amount of defoliation began and spread. The leaf of Lilium lucidum leaves gradually appeared spots. The old leaves appeared second to young leaves, and then they developed into dryness. The leaves fell off, and the shoots gradually dried up from top to bottom, with a few deaths. Most of the dead parts of alopecia areata are in the middle of the planting area, and their growth is better all around. The spot disease is caused by the fungus of the genus Aspergillus spp. Alternaria spp. mainly causes wintering of mycelia on the surface debris, and conidiospores are transmitted through air or leaf contact and invade the host from wounds, stomata or directly. The incubation period is 10 to 20 days. At 26 °C, the spores germinated at a suitable temperature of 18 °C to 27 °C. Spores germinate in a few hours at moderate temperatures and high humidity.
Scale insects are less harmful to scale insects, about 2 mm, crawling faster on branches without fixing. The branches and leaves are too dense, with poor ventilation and light transmission, and the pests and diseases are seriously endangered. It often causes defoliation. In severe cases, the plants will wither and die.
In order to control the defoliation of golden leaf privet in the growing period, the following control measures can be taken and the effect is better.
1. Choose the terrain and grasp planting. To maintain a high ground in the planting, do not collect water. When planting should be closely planted, and with the growth of the plant should be reasonable and sparse, enhance the plant's internal ventilation, light transmission, reduce humidity.
2. Strengthen cultivation management and increase organic fertilizer. Nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers are used in combination to make the seedlings grow vigorously and enhance their resistance to stress. Avoid partial application of available nitrogen, causing seedlings to grow.
3. Clean up the planting area and block the source of germs. After each pruning, the cut leaves and branches should be cleared out of the planting area in time to remove the weeds at any time, and keep the planting fields clean and free of debris. Reduce wintering mycelia and block the source of germs.
4. Prune timely, timely treatment of wounds. Entering the rainy season should be done with little or no pruning, reducing wounds and reducing the possibility of pathogen invasion. Whenever pruning, the fungicide should be sprayed immediately after cutting.
5. Regular spraying control. Disease prevention must be prevention-based, prevention and control combined. From the end of June, the fungicide will be sprayed every 7 to 10 days. After each rain, the fungicide will be sprayed again until the end of the September rainy season. In the early stage of the disease, systemic fungicides such as carbendazim, thiophanate-methyl, and leukemia can be used. In order to control scale insects, imidacloprid can be used together with a bactericide before the body is immobilized. In the later period, protective fungicides such as Bordeaux mixture, mancozeb, etc. can be used. In order to prevent pathogens from producing resistance, systemic fungicides and protective fungicides can be used interchangeably.
