Wheel tractor should pay attention to the problem in use

(1) Inadequate drive belts: Small four-wheel tractors typically come with three V-belts, but some models only use one or two of them at a time. When the tractor is in operation, the increased load causes the drive belts to slip significantly. This not only reduces transmission efficiency but also decreases the output power. The excessive heat generated can lead to belt delamination, deformation, and accelerated wear. Therefore, it's important to avoid overloading the tractor, as this puts unnecessary stress on the drive belts. (2) Neglecting the cooling system: The water tank of the tractor is usually open, making it prone to dust and debris entering during operation or when parked. Sometimes, dirty or hard water is used, which leads to sediment buildup over time. As dust and impurities accumulate, they can form scale that blocks the water passages, impairing engine cooling. This results in higher engine temperatures, thinner oil, and reduced lubrication performance, leading to faster wear of moving parts. It can also cause expansion of components, reducing overall performance, decreasing power, and potentially causing serious issues like burned bearings, seized shafts, or stuck cylinders. (3) Unauthorized modifications: Some operators make random changes to the tractor’s components, which can damage the original mechanical properties. For example, increasing the diameter of the driving pulley to boost speed can be dangerous. This alters the gear ratio, increases clutch speed, and raises impact loads when the engine speed fluctuates. It also increases torsional vibrations, shortening the lifespan of clutch parts. Additionally, the larger contact area between the belt and pulley can cause the belt to break more easily. Higher speeds reduce traction, creating risks during transport and hill climbing. Overloading also raises the temperature, thins the oil, and makes it harder to maintain an oil film, accelerating wear on the crankshaft and other engine components. Finally, it can compromise the tractor’s handling and stability, increasing the risk of brake failure and early wear on braking parts. (4) Severe overloading: Some drivers frequently overload the tractor during transport, putting excessive strain on the engine, transmission, and running parts. This leads to higher temperatures and thinner lubricating oil, reducing its effectiveness. In emergency situations, the tractor may not stop in time, increasing braking distance and the risk of accidents. Overloading also increases fuel consumption, causes black smoke from the exhaust, and promotes carbon buildup in the combustion chamber, which accelerates piston and cylinder wear. (5) Improper traction start: Some tractors are started by pulling them, which can be harmful due to the high viscosity of the oil in the transmission and oil pan. This increases resistance, and when the clutch is engaged, it causes sudden gear impacts. Repeatedly using this method can lead to gear fatigue and eventual failure. It is especially dangerous in cold weather, where this starting technique should be strictly avoided.
